Journeys Towards Peace

Inspired by Ann & Liv’s journey and the Norwegian model of peaceful conflict resolution, this K-12 curriculum, developed by professors Mike Hillis and Ron Byrnes of Pacific Lutheran University(PLU) helps teachers work with students to develop the skills and dispositions needed to resolve conflicts peacefully while following Ann and Liv’s crossing of the Arctic Ocean. The curriculum was funded by PLU, Norge 2005, The Norwegian Department of Foreign Affairs and The Norwegian American Foundation.
